Clerk/Treasurer

The Clerk/Treasurer of the Village of Holly is one of three public officials that are appointed by and directly report to the Village of Holly Council. The Clerk/Treasurer’s office handles the administration and management of the Village Offices, oversees taxes, water/sewer customer service and billing, financial management and reporting for the Village of Holly, public and legal communications, and other services to Village residents.

Tax Information & Assessing

The Clerk/Treasurer’s office handles tax collection for summer and winter property taxes. Assessing services for the Village of Holly are provided by Holly Township. Learn more about tax information here.

Elections

Elections for Village Council members and the Village President are held every two years during the General Election in November. The Holly Township Clerk’s Office administers elections for the Village of Holly.

Audit Reports

Each year the Village of Holly undergoes an annual audit to ensure that State and Local Governmental Accounting Practices are being conducted according to the law. Plante Moran, PLLC has performed these services for the Village of Holly for the past several years.

Deborah J. Bigger holds a bachelor’s degree from Oakland University and has more than 30 years in governmental service with more than four years in government finance and accounting at the municipal level.
